COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course goes into the original teachings of mindfulness taught by the Buddha. Mindfulness of Body is one of the four element of mindfulness and through one-to-one coaching you will get present how to do the meditations associated with this teaching. Please note that this course is designed for one person and bespoke. However, if there is more than one person and you are part of a mindfulness group, please get in touch as we arrange a reduction in costs depending on the numbers of people that would like to do the course together.
WHY MINDFULNESS OF THE BODY?
Mindfulness means the ability to keep something in mind. On the Buddhist path, it functions in three ways: remembering to stay alert to what you’re doing in the present moment; remembering to recognize the skillful and unskillful qualities that arise in the mind; and remembering how to effectively abandon the qualities that get in the way of concentration, then developing the skillful ones that promote it. The original teachings of Mindfulness by the Buddha covers four areas, the first is Mindfulness of the Body. This course covers the different aspects associated with being mindful of our bodies.
